After many successful years as part of Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT), the Los Angeles branch of Brain Academy is now a fully independent production company and has been renamed STOCKHOLM SYNDROME. Founder and CEO, Peter Settman, has over 30 years of experience running both scripted and unscripted production companies in Sweden. Mostly recently, as CEO of Brain Academy, he executive produced a number of Swedish shows and films including Playa Del Sol, Conspiracy of Silence and The Perfect Patient. In the English language space, he executive produced two seasons of Swedish Dicks, Viaplay’s first original series, starring Keanu Reeves and Peter Stormare, which aired on POP in the US, and a new adventure comedy, Home Invasion, featuring Morena Baccarin, John Noble and Paul Blackthorne.
Peter Settman is currently Executive Producing The American Song Contest (based on the Eurovision format) partnering with Propagate and NBC to bring the international sensation to the United States. His latest adventure, STOCKHOLM SYNDROME, is focused solely on English language projects and continuing to create high quality content for a global audience that engages, inspires and transforms.
